    This question makes no sense with out a frame of reference. Do you mean deadlock in a programmatic sense, the sort that is caused in a multi-threaded environment? Or perhaps you mean the wholly unlikely situation where your Slackware install just locks up for no reason?

    Or has your teacher asked you to answer this question for your homework, and you thought you'd post it here for us to do rather than try to answer it yourself?
