pkgtool gives you an ncurses type gui
or
slapt-gui is a package you can install to give gui capability to the slapt-get package.

I installed slapt-get.And with
slapt-gui installed.Code:slapt-get --install slapt-gui
But when i start slapt-gui then it gives an error
something like there is no file
/etc/slapt-getrc

Dunno what the prob is.
The add-on package managers for slack are far from perfect.
IMO the best one is swaret. onsole based, no gui but very good. Another contender is emerde.

I think that you have to configure the /etc/slapt-getrc kinda like with swaret. Look for /etc/slapt-getrc.new. It it's there, configure it and then save as /etc/slapt-getrc. Then try again.
