Samba configuration?
Hi.
Are there any program that can configure Samba easly? Or, are there any documents for newbies ?
I have small home network.There are win9x computers and linux computers.
i want to reach some files and directorys.
Is it possible to copy and erase files in this network?

There are a lot of HOWTO's available for Samba. There are some on your harddisk as well in /usr/doc/samba-<version>.
Samba comes with swat for easy configuration. Remove the comment from the line with swat in /etc/inetd.conf and restart the inetd daeomon ( /etc/rc.d/rc.inetd restart ).
Then connect using a browser to http://localhost:901/ .I\'m so tired .....

Look at /etc/samba/smb.conf . Read smb.conf-sample or smb.conf and You should learn. Good luck!
