    XOrg 6.8.1 on Current

I've just noticed (I know... it's probably been there for ages) that slack current has XOrg 6.8.1 http://www.slackware.com/pb/browse.p...nt/slackware/x

If I download it, remove 6.7.0 and install 6.8.1 will I simply be able to boot back into x as before without any messing around?

Of course, the reason I want 6.8.1 is because of the "real" transparency feature

This shouldnt be hard at all to configure.
Simply follow the installation instructions, and you'll be fine.

Dont hesitate to post any error you get with a details error message if you have any
