According to fluxbox documentation to have apps startup with fluxbox you just add the the command to ~/.xinitrc. Because I use KDM as my dm I don't have an xinitrc.

startup apps with fluxbox
According to fluxbox documentation to have apps startup with fluxbox you just add the the command to ~/.xinitrc. Because I use KDM as my dm I don't have an xinitrc.
If I simply created an xinitrc in ~/ and added the commands in there (e.g. gkrellm &) would that be enough to make those programs startup with fluxbox?

if you create the file .xinitrc it should start those up for you. but make sure you have the . in the file name because the .xinitrc is a hidden file and thats is what it is looking for
im not 100% that it will work but im pretty sure it will
