I only see one network device and the loopback device. the network device (eth0) does not have an ip address. It looks like it is unable to get an ip address from the DHCP server. Try a static address first ....
I\'m so tired .....

so i set up netconfig for a static address my router is 192.168.1.1 but it looked like i had to put it in with zeros so i put it in as 192.168.001.001 and i put my address as 192.168.001.099 which i set up to be static on my router. then i put in ifconfig eth0 up and close the terminal and tried to open both netscape and mozilla and still no good
i think the driver is not on slackware, the only time this adapter worked was with suse 9.2 but i HATED suse cause it was a windows clone. please help!
