Maybe try it so that it uses the nvidia agpart first, maybe that'll work. Some motherboards work better with one than the other, so.

nope, 3,2,1, same black screen 0 - is everything ok, except "no AGP support" =) all graphical things is working very slowly =)

i also have that problem with my RIVA TNT running on Slack 10, 2.4.26 kernal, i just found it much easier to just switch back to the older drivers.
