Slackware connecting to Win XP and ICS
I have a windows xp network, one pc connects to the net via a usb adsl modem and all the pc's share the connection with internet connection sharing.
I want to connect my slackware laptop to the netowrk to access the net. whilst the slackware can ping the windows pc's, i have no idea how on earth to access the windows ics.
any ideas?

i would like to say, i have fixed this myself.
in case anyone has a similar problem with slackware 10.1 (and up i guess) its important to make sure your network adapter drivers are loaded (read through "The Book" on slackware.com) and then set up the networking to dhcp.
Also - i use KDE3.3 and there is an option to use a proxy in the control center, choose that and tell it to automattically detect the proxy.
All should be fine then.
