XMODMAP - halp! (key mapping help needed)
Hello,
I use an old AT&T keyboard which is probably one of the best keyboards I have ever used, with the notable exception that it lacks a proper "meta" key. I would like to use some sort of keybinding (similar to the one that I used in Windows by editing the registry) to make the right control key act as a "meta" key. I am trying to map a "meta" key in order to begin using GNU emacs under linux proper. If for some reason I am mistaken in my understanding of my lack of a "meta" key slap me around and call me an idiot (then explain it for me).
--EDIT--
So I guess I should ask a question eh? I understand that xmodmap might be useful in the above. Could someone clue me in to how this is done.
