    i am running a amd but i can still safely say yes thats normal HT has nothing to do with the number of cpu's in your computer.

    Hey

    I have sorted it out. I had a friend who compiled a new kernel for me with SMP og for I686 and Linux is now showing two cpus's and make use of HT.
