    Xf86log is in /var/log/. I think

    This has a fairly simple fix,

    in your xorg.conf file there are a list of fonts, just uncomment the one that says "cannot start /usr/X11R6/lib/fonts/CID/ removig from list!" like this
    Code:
    # /usr/X11R6/lib/fonts/CID/
    Your x is looking for a font repository that is not there, this should fix it simply.
