    Lilo's long timer

Lilo has a 2 minute timer before it defaults to whatever operating system is chosen, on my Slackware 10.1 install. I've changed the lilo.conf for the timer to be "50", but it still takes 2 minutes. How can I make this shorter?

    thanks,
    mr.popper

When you make a change to lilo.conf, you then have to run lilo to make the change take effect.

you have to save changes to the lilo.conf file
    by running this command: /sbin/lilo
