    that i dont know im sorry. well ran 'cat' and i have nameservers, ifconfig -a i have an ip address, 'ls' i had: dhcpcd-eth0.exe** *dhcpcd-eth0.info.old* dhcpcd-eth1.cache* dhcpcd-eth1.info.old
    when i ping it resolves the names but i have 100% loss

    and let me know what you get. Also, try using a protocol like "telnet" or "ftp". We are almost there...

    hey it seems to be working!!! for now.... i still cant seem to ping though i still get 100% loss..... but thank you for all your help.

    Please, call your provider and ask whether you have DHCP or NAT.
    And if NAT ask about your IP, your gate's IP, DNS, etc...

    Without this info no one could help you!
