    setting up my network

    i have a router connected to a diff computer and i ran the ethernet from the a diff port on the router to my laptop and i dont have internet access how do i turn on my etho or what do i do to get internet? the cable is plugged in

    Start by going to Terminal and type in
    Code:
    su
    password:
    Code:
    ifconfig
    you will see eth0 info if it's configured. Lets make sure your network card is working.

    Post the results if you don't understand the info.
