It's very nice! I don't currently run it but have in the past and I'll use it again at some point. Highly recommended...

I've never used it personally, but I have heard it to be a great distro, espetialy on low end computers.

Low-end computers it works good on.
High-end it works great on.

I run vector standard 5.0 rc1 on my desktop (quite high-end) and it is very fast. The bootup time is much faster than any other distros I've tried. Though I don't like the package manager as much as I like debian's apt-get. I've taken to installing everything from source. That just makes everything even faster. I have not gotten my usb stick to work yet. And I had quite a few problems when I tried it on my laptop. But overall, I think the v.5 will be great.

It is fine, but I would really like to see more options and not so automatic installation.

I love it. Using 5.01 SOHO. But don't take our word for it, give it a shot yourself. That's half the fun in trying out new distros.
