I'm running Windows XP. I downloaded and put the ISO's on disk. Yet when i restarted the computer and set the bios to boot from the CD. It just booted ...

Can't install Slackware.
I'm running Windows XP. I downloaded and put the ISO's on disk. Yet when i restarted the computer and set the bios to boot from the CD. It just booted Windows.
How can i stop this and make it boot The slackware instilation CD instead?

Did you just copy the ISO to CD, or did you burn it as a data image?

Unzipped the files using winRAR. Then burnt the files to the CD's
- 06-22-2005 #4You do not need to do this, you need to extract the iso's to the cd. You do this by 'Burning CD image' in most burning software. You might want to check this thread if you need some good free burning software to do this with.

So my CD's wont work at all, in anyway or form?
- 06-22-2005 #6You could use them as costers? But you do not unRAR .iso files you extract them to cd like the abouve link explained.

No.. You need to burn it as an image from the ISO.
