Nice screenies Social Burn. Thanks for your help and loft's commment as well! I'm going to have to find a thread or start one on "How do I instal a DE or WM that didn't come with my distro". If you already know of some guides for newbies like me, please share!

    Thanks again,

Depends on the DE/WM and your distro mate.

Most distros can be installed via pkgtool in Slackware. Other DE/WM's that can't include Enlightenment. You can do it however I suggest manually compiling from source.

Installing DE/WM's isn't hard. Mostly consists of doing what you need to get it installed (like using pkgtool or compiling from source). Sometimes you'll run into a dependency or two which will complicate things however it's not too hard to figure out.

Then once you're done just edit your .xinitrc to point to that DE/WM's binary so you can load into it from startx.
