    dvd burning...

    Hi, I am having the hardest time getting some old mpeg to my dvd burner then to my home theater dvd player... Im a newbie so if some one can kinda spell it out for me, or point me to a helpful site, I'd really appreciate it.

    Are you trying to convert it first so it will play or does your DVD player play normal mpeg movies. I have found converting a pain. Too many gui tools, none of them good enough. And transcode is a ***** on the commandline.
