    Create rescue DVD

    Hi,

    I have gone into the dreaded -bad hda1 won't bood and no rescue disk- corner...
    During boot and after fchk which gives these errors I can enter the root password but my system reboots immediately so I cannot even to to the command prompt...

    Have another Win XP PC which doesn't have a floppy disk unfortunately.
    Is it possible to create a rescue DVD from the bareacpi.i file?
    Rawrite ofcourse doesn't work..

    Thanks a lot for 'rescueing' me and I promise I'll create a rescue floppy when this is all over!!!!!!

    Disregard.. I used Nero to burn a DVD/Boot disk from the bareacpi.i file.
    And it's working nicely!
