slackware install help
I am a big linux nooby ... i registered a few minutes ago and i didn't find any posts about my problem so .. anyway ... here is my problem..
When i make my pc to boot from my slackware cd1 it doesn't boot from it ... it just says Searching for boot record from CD-ROM...Not Found ...
and a friend of mine downloaded tha slackware from where i downloaded it .. and he has no problems installing it ... can u help me install slackware?
if u can write just how to install it ... thanks

Did you burn the ISO images as images or did you just burn the single file to the CD? If you just burnt it as a single file, try something like burnatonce to burn it as an image since it must be burnt this way for installation to proceed.
