A tgz package in Slackware usually denotes a Slackware package. You will have to install it with installpkg (as root):
So, in your case it would be:Code:installpkg <name of package>
BryanCode:installpkg point2play-small-2.0.3.tgz

that means its installed
check /var/log/packages/ and you'll probably find that package is on
it just has no description thats all

well then how do i make the program run, whenever i type in its command (point2play) it doesnt work....

You need to type Point2Play.
You could see where it's installed or follow the instructions on the transgaming site.
