From the command line, joe is really easy to use and has a help screen available right there when you open it up. Say you want to open /etc/fstab. Just use the name of one of the above, and the file. Do it as root.

    I noticed the same(already a few times). Seems to be a problem with pgktool.
    Retry it a few times(worked for me) or cd to it's location and install it from their.

    i just installed it, but it doesn't have sound, does anyone know how to fix this?

    Try running alsaconf as root (su).

    Just cut and past the above in your console(using su)
