Slax live cd wont boot on one system and boots on another

I have never had a problem booting to a live cd untill i came upon slax live cd. i can boot to it on my IBM thinkpad but not on my DELL latitude CPX J. does anyone know what to do in this situation?

You'll probably have to experiment with some of the "boot options" that are available before the installation CD begins to boot. I think it's the F1, F2, and/or F3 keys that will give those options, but not sure. I'm not in Slack right now and don't have a Slack CD handy at the moment.

I'm starting to fool around with slax also. You might want to try the cheatcodes page http://slax.linux-live.org/cheatcodes.php I'm having trouble installing slax to the compact flash. I'll just read up more and I'm sure the answers are out there.

If it isn't booting on the Dell, you can either change the boot order in the BIOS or when the Dell splash comes up press F12 to get a list of bootable devices. You can just choose CD/DVD from there.
