Just place a "." before it.

GPG is good, you can create PGP style volumes which you can treat kinda like a mounted drive. It also provides nice 128bit encryption in whatever cypher you want. Is PGP compliant too, so you will be able to use on windows machines if you look after your public/private keys.

I stand corrected on this one - GPG doesn't support encrypted volumes as such, just file encryption. Apologies.
