I just installed Slack 10.2 on my box, and it's working just great, except that I can't play MIDIs. I tried getting a few command-line programs to play them (since KMid won't, and KDE doesn't see a MIDI device, although there are DEFINITELY the proper modules loaded; I've reviewed the MIDI-HOWTO, no help there) Anybody succesfully got MIDI working under KDE? I actually had KDE show a midi device once on 10.0, but while it was there, MIDI didn't work, and it went away pretty soon after.
