Glad it saved you some time. I've got a lot to tell about my journey with this card. I guess I'll start a new thread to the effect that I just wasn't getting the performance out of the Ralink Linux drivers I expected, so I decided to give it a try with ndiswrapper which works far better and gives better signal strenght and stability. It might all depend on distance though. I am a good ways from my wireless router. Closer in, there might not be enough difference to warrant a changeover. I guess trying it both ways would be the definitive way to find out which works best in any particular situation.
