    Personalised message at logon?


    How do I add a personalised message at login, like the quote of the day you get when you log in or open a new console, when you do an "everything" install of Slackware?

    Ah .. don't worry have sussed it. I just need to add a line to /etc/motd.

    You could make a script in /etc/profile.d/ to and it'll get executed after you login

    welcome.sh or similar
