No videos in Mozilla
i cannot get mozilla to display videos. i have tried installing the mplayer plugin but it doesnt seem to work. does mplayer have to be installed to use the plugin etc. i am on 10.1 and mozilla 1.7.5 i got the mplayer plugin from linuxpackages.net. i would appreciate any help.

Yeah, you'll need mplayer installed to use the mplayer-plugin.

You could open a terminal, start mozilla in it, and then try playing something to see if it gives you any errors.

yeah you'll need the win32codecs package installed and then you will need to reinstall mplayer and maybe mplayerplug-in.
