I've been experimenting with it, and it seems to work rather well. Since there are a great deal of packages in the Crux repos, It can come in handy for installing packages you might not be able to find natively for Slackware. I just installed acroread and antiword. It downloaded and installed both without incident.

There are several here I can't find at Linuxpackages such as Xmule, NeroLinux, Acroread, Quake 1-4, Firefox-flash-plugin, Firefox-java-plugin, Xscreensaver, Skype and GnomeBaker just to name few. Some of these are available through Slapt-get. I don't think Cruxports4slack will replace Slapt-get for me, but it's nice to know there are other options when needing to install certain apps.
