    yesss!!!!!!!! woohooo!

    finaly! it was the partitions AND it was the screen resolution.

    the instalation worked with 2 primary partitions : hda1 for swap and hda2 as the '/' drive.

    then the loggin screen would only appear if the resolution chosen during the instalation was 640*480 (strange, but who cares).
    then after logging ini change the resolution and all is working fine!
