I have installed Slackware I already had windows Xp everything if fine. When I installed LILO the BIOS anti-virus Triggered an alert that there is boot sector virus. there is no boot sector virus on the hard disk. I installed LILO on the MBR i suppose this triggered the alert. Is this normal?

When you have installed LILO, the BIOS anti-virus Triggered an alert because the boot sector is changed. This is normal. Disable virus warning from BIOS settings.
