boot without FDD and GRUB
I want to install Slackware 10.2 on Amilo M1427G. But i havent FDD, and dont want to install GRUB on MBR. How can i boot Slack with CD or USB key ?

Sure, you can boot it with the install CD, you just have to pass the right parameters to the boot screen. Check http://syslinux.zytor.com/iso.php for full documentation.

Sure, but only, and only if, you can boot from a USB drive. I'd say booting with the Slackware install CD is easier, specially since I've never tried USB booting.or USB key ?

If you have acess to another computer plug the HDD into the other computer as /dev/hdb or as hda it dosen't mater just as long as you get fstab right
install edit /etc/fstab and change every hdb to hda move it to hda
boot from FDD configure and run lilo
plug it into it's home computer configure
a full install from HDD is fast realy fast like 15 menutes
