CD-ROM error
Sorry if this is kind of newbish...
I keep getting a CD-ROM drive access error upon login. When I load KDE, the error message reads:
Error KsCD
CD-ROM read or access error (or no audio disc in drive)
Please ensure you have access permissions to:
/dev/cdrom
I've tried logging in as root on Konsole, and attempting to mount the drive from there.. but even then I get an error... I was able to mount the Floppy drive using this.

CD-ROM error
Check FAQs. Remember you dont't mount audio cds. See if you can mount a data cd as root then as user. Check /etc/group to see what groups user(your user name belongs to) and /etc/fstab for correct entry for cdrom. Good luck.
