    lilo sector not found problem


    I have this problem with lilo:

    0x04 Sector not found

    My hardware is:
    Motherboard: ABIT KG7-RAID with raid coltroller high-poin hpt370
    HardDisk: Maxtor 7y250p0 250 GB.

    My lilo.conf is:

    boot = /dev/hde
    message = /boot/boot_message.txt
    prompt
    timeout = 1200
    change-rules
    reset
    vga = 773
    other = /dev/hde1
    label = Windows
    table = /dev/hde
    image = /boot/vmlinuz
    root = /dev/hde6
    label = Linux
    read-only

    I have slackware 10.2 anyone can help me ?

    looks like a bad HD

    shouldnt the first be /dev/hde1 or hde2....?
