    i need to get a ethernet card for a computer i got with slackware 10.2 on it. i was wondering if you guys could tell me some that are supported by it

    In a regular wired NIC, just about all of them. There may be some that don't but I don't think I've ever used a wired NIC that wouldn't work with Linux. Linksys is good as is Dlink.

    yeah ethernet cards are virtually all supported. I bought a 20 dollar realtech and it works great. Check out newegg.com
