i want to see the cd contants in Slackware
I want to see the cd contants in Slackware, i am trying to mount the cdrom but i got message to entery in fstab. so i want help to mount the cdrom and entry in fstab.

Edit your fstab. You should enter lines like...
/dev/hdd /mnt/cdrom auto user,noauto,owner,ro 0 0
What ever your device is. After that you should have no problem mounting your CDs.

Just wondering, how are you trying to mount the drive? Slackware, by default, adds a floppy and CD-ROM entry in fstab. My initial guess is that you're not giving it the right command.
