Adding to the wireless woes
I just installed the mandriva version, and have a dlink wireless card (DWL -G510 A1). Unlike the previous post - the automated detection software cannot find the card. Harddrake2 does not find it either - although it does detect an "unknown" category - which deductively I presume is the wireless card, given the list of known devices.
I did check at Dlink and there is no listed driver for linux with this model. (for the previous post - you may want to check DLink as there are a number of models that do have known linux-based drivers already developed). I presume that before I can contemplate using a wrapper, my OS needs to recognize the wireless card? I have downloaded the wrapper tool but not sure how to locate to initialize (if that is the right step given that the device is not even recognized).
