pcmcia

when i start my laptop with slackware 10.2 installed
it comes up the lilo thing.
i press enter then it starts botting up.
it gets down to pcmcia and then crashs when trying to find it (though i have nothing in pcmcia)
i tried putting something in it to see if it loaded it and it still didn't.
is there a way to get past it like skipping it at the lilo boot thing or even fixing it permantly?
(pref without me reinstalling slackware)

1) First, read the rules regarding posts, cuz the admins do not play to kindly to bumping in the fashion of generic hellos.

2) Questions that still remain unclear:

Have you had a successful boot before this problem?

Did you make an alternative boot method during the initial install?

Laptop brand, kind, hardware?


This would help troubleshoot your problem.
