Compiling Issue - CPP Fails Sanity

    Hello Guys,

I'm trying to ./configure the latest version of dbus and having an error kicked back at me.

It says that CPP fails the Sanity check.

After hunting around for a while it would seem that sometimes you can have issues if you dont have g++ installed properly.

From what i can see i've not missed any of the compiling utility packages, they all seem to be present so not sure whats causing the issue.

    Any advice?

    Rob

probably need to install the g++ package from slackware/d/

that would be the gnu c++ compiler

    Thanks for that Kern,

I managed to get that running in the end by finding a pre compiled slackware package for the sortware.

I'll be sure to install that G++ package in the hope it resoles future error's i thought i'd installed it on setup but perhaps i missed somthing.

    Thanks,

    Rob
