using other distro packages
i got slackware installed on my laptop
i noticed one thing particular of interest
when i went to kpackage on kde
where i can add/manage packages for my slackware distro
i noticed you can use other distro packages with slackware
especially debian and redhat
i was wondering, is there a way, or how would i load my debian dvds on my slackware distro
and be able to use them?
like what would i enter in for the line on my slackware repository?\
cdrom:// ??

Not sure about Debian to Slack, but there are other choices for package management. Slapt-get works very well as does Cruxports4slack.

Swaret is another package manager that works well. http://swaret.sourceforge.net/
