    same thing as mounting the other drives. I suppose you'll need hotplug package installed.

    add a udev rule and you could have it mounted as /dev/usb/pendrive every time, therefore never interfering with your /dev/sd{a,b,c,x} devices and maintaining a constant fstab rule.
