    REAL PLAYER install type suggestion

hello to all; i just would like to ask your suggestions regarding installing real player in slackware 10.2

i have downloaded the .bin file in the realplayer site.. also the .rpm package. now the question is, what is more efficient to be used?

    1. running the BIN file OR

    2. converting the rpm2tgz in order for me to install the realplayer?

    thanks a lot

    realplayer BIN file installed

it seems the file to be played in realplayer comes quite slow.. BUT when i play the file using win* it shows a good quality.. how cn i arrange this? (i have already configured realplayer, but still same concern arises)
