well when i want to change the xmanager i allways did something like this :
cd
echo "exec startkde" > .xinitrc
that allways worked just fine but now i want ...

well when i want to change the xmanager i allways did something like this :

that allways worked just fine but now i want to switch mai x managet to gnome, in past versions of slack as far as i remember it was gnome-session but in slack 10.2 it dosen't work, anyone has am ideea how can i make gnome my default x manager?
