new to slackware
hi there,
i heard that slackware had announced its new release .i have a lttle experience on linux.i have used ubuntu ,suse distributions now i want to use slack on my box that have not an internet connection.there are 6 cds of slackware.i know that some of them are not necessary so please give me only necessary ones' links.thanks

You need to get the first 3 discs labelled "install". Mirrors sites are here.

kern, are you using "11?" I have the install cds but haven't gottem around to installing...

yeah I am, havent upgraded my server yet.
but slackware-current turned into 11 just recently
as for install cd's, I havent installed since 9.0

Slack 11 has 3 installation discs, but previous versions had only 2.
