Beowulf cluster distribution?
I know that the original Beowulf cluster used Slackware & that we could use Cluster-Knoppix, Clusterix, and Rocks.
I want to know what is the privilege of one distribution over another that may help in making a Beowulf Cluster?
thnx in advance

Distro choices are a matter of preference in general. Give that al of the software is open source you can run any options/software on any distro with varying amounts of work. I believe when building large clusters you will always have a lot of customisation to do so aside from picking one of the cluster specific distros you mentioned you will end up with a highly custom setup. To this end there probably is no advantage to using Slack/SUSE/Red Hat etc aside from preference.
