devede wont build

i am trying to compile a program Devede for my movies. i untar the package and run the ./install.sh argument as per the read me. but when i try to run it i doesnt seem to run.and when i try to run it from the console i get this message:
"Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/devede", line 22, in ?
import pygtk # for testing GTK version number
ImportError: No module named pygtk"
does anyone know what this problem is.
