    ThinkPad x60 trackpoint problem

    Hi,

I installed slackware and compiled the 2.6.18.3 and that's what I'm using now. Everything seems to work fine except for the trackpoint. It looks like it's not functioning at all. I tried all mentioned configurations in xorg.conf (/dev/mouse, /dev/psaux, /dev/input/mice) and nothing works.
A USB connected mouse works fine however.

    Any help please?

I don't know the trackpoint mouse. If a PS2 it uses the psmouse module which is blacklisted by default.
    See /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist
The module can be loaded through /etc/rc.d/rc.local if it causes problems at boot.
