    Codec problem


    I'v just installed Linux: Slackware 11.0, and I'v only used windows before this big step into the big unix world

    But now I have a mayor problem, I can't look at wmv.. how come? and where could I find that codec to slackware? and if you got a link, how to install it ?

    how to install it ?
    Copy all the content of the tarball into /usr/lib/codecs
    Create the folder if it doesn't exist
