    Err "PRESS A KEY TO REBOOT"



    I hope this is a very simple thing to fix. I get "PRESS A KEY TO REBOOT" whenever I try to boot from my HD that I installed Slackware on. I can boot into it only if I pop in the Slackware Disc 1 and than tell it to boot from dev/hda. Any way I can fix this so it boots Linux from the harddrive? Oh I installed Lilo during the slackware installation and that doesnt seem to come up during the boot process. BTW this is all new to me if you couldnt already tell . Thanks for any help.

    how and where did you install lilo, to the mbr or to its own partition?

    Look for the file /etc/lilo.conf and if possible,
    post the contents here.
