    need help please


    hi guys

    plz i need your help, is there anyway to download slackware linux on

    one CD for x65 processor and just in english with only the basic

    softwares and just KDE desktop if there are any ,

    i don't need all that other languages processor families softwares gnome

    and other destop envirenments .

    i have a very slow internet connection and i don't have a DVD burner

    so i wonder if there are anyway to get a slackware as easy as for kubanti

    linux, or other live CD distorbutions

    Gnome doesn't come on the 4 cd set, it only comes in extras I believe. Slack is not meant to be "easy" like kubuntu is "easy."

    try slax not sure if you can install it but its a live cd version of Slackware.

    No. But you can as you probably know order the CD Set from here. A bit expensive but it is a quality package.

    You might want to take a look at Zenwalk. It's based on Slackware and the full version only takes up 400MB.
